How We Made it in Africa: Fahad Awadh

From the root to the fruit…I recently shared a bit about my journey so far with How We Made it in Africa. For the past 6 years I have been working to build an inclusive cashew nut value chain in Tanzania; that sees farmers and their communities earning 1.5-2x what they normally would selling just their raw cashews. I believe the future for value addition in Africa lies in an inclusive community processing model.

Our brand is called ‘More than Cashews’, because this idea is about exactly that, it’s about community, hope and Africa.
